Calgary Shopping Trip

 Calgary Shopping Trip     September 5, 2014

   On September 29 my mom, Keshia, Amber, Baby Adelle, and Me piled into Keshia's truck and drove off to Calgary for two days of shopping! The drive there was filled with alot of laughing, and we didn't even stop once for pee breaks or coffee! When we got to Calgary we went out to Tim Hortons for lunch and then found the closest Value Village. We all love Value Village, and I had my list for Saidey crossed off in minutes! Next we went to the Chinook mall, and started in Target. Keshia and I had no problem spending our gift cards there! Mom and Amber had a bit more trouble. After spending some time int he rest of the mall we found our hotel. Me and Adelle got our own little room separated from the others by glass doors, because Adelle is still up in the night a couple of times. I think she is definitely less noisy in the night than someone else who shall remain anonymous:)
   The next morning there was an amazing continental breakfast! Then we packed up and went to Marshalls, and then back to the Mall, and then another Value Village. Everyone was pretty shopped out by then so we stopped an Mc Donalds to get a 20 pack of nuggets for Amber :) and drinks for everyone else, and then drove home. It was a very fun trip, that will hopefully be repeated for years and years to come!

The girls had swimming lessons the last week of August this year. Hannah woke up the first day of lessons and said no way was she going to her swimming lessons. I told her maybe after watching Saideys class she would be more excited, but she wasn't, and so she skipped her first class. The next morning she woke up all excited to put on her swim suit and go to swimming lessons! Funny girl! I think it might of had something  to do with the fact that only Saidey got a Slurpee the day before for being good and listing to her swim teacher :) They both had fun teachers, and learned alot. Saidey passed two levels, and Hannah passed one. 

Adelle is Two Months Old!

Adelle is Two Moths Old!  September3, 2014

   On september first Adelle turned two months old. Time is flying by. She is definetly not a newborn anymore. We love our happy baby!

• Is down to one feeding in the night, Yay!
• Laughed for the first time on August 27 at 8 weeks old. It was so cute!
• Smiles more and more, especially when we get her out of bed in the morning.
• Still has dark hair, and its not falling out. 
• Loves her big sisters

  Ben had holidays the second last week of August, and we went camping at Park Lake again. Saidey and Hannah had fun playing with their cousins, and Adelle was a good baby. We had the campsite booked for four nights but we went home early because it was raining and camping with a baby in the rain was not easy.

Adelle Is One Month Old

   On august first Adelle was 1 month old. This first month has been better than we could of hoped for, she is usually such an easy happy baby.

• She started smiling at four weeks, and its the cutest thing ever
• Wakes up to nurse every three hours during the day, then hangs out for about an hour, and then has a little nap.
• Is asleep for the night at about 9, and wakes up for the day around 8.
• Grew out of her 3 month sleepers at 3 weeks because she is so long!
• Loves to be talked to, but gets overstimulated very easily, and starts to cry.
• Loves to coo and try talk to us.
• Still has super dark hair, and blue eyes
• Dosent need to sleep at a 45 degree angle anymore, i think she had a bit of reflux, but now she is fine to sleep flat.
  
  
  
  

Picking Strawberrys

   Two weeks ago I took the girls strawberry picking at Broxburn. We picked 3 buckets and made jam with them. It was funny to watch the girls fill the buckets, Hannah was super fast, and Saidey loved to find funny shaped berries, or look on the berry plants for bugs. Next year we definitely need to pick more, Saidey loves it and eats it on her toast almost every morning!

On July 13 Adelle was Baptized. Bens parents were there for the weekend, and it was nice that they could meet little Adelle and spend some time with us.
