Saidey

Watching the game

   We signed the girls up for soccer this year. I didn't realize Saidey would have to play twice a week, but it is still fun to go relax in the sun and watch the girls play.

   Saidey loves the social part, and can tell me things like which of the girls on her team have there ears pierced, and how old all her teammates are. I wish we would have put her in when she was younger.  She had to go in U8, so some of her teammates have been playing for four years already, so her coaches are definitely not teaching the basics anymore. But she still runs around and has fun!

   Hannah is loving soccer. She is pretty aggressive, and is excited to tell Ben at supper after practice how many goals she scored that night. 

Mothers Day Tea

   It was so fun to go to the Mothers Day Tea for Saideys class. They sang some very cute songs, and gave the moms very special gifts. Saidey made me a special fingerprints poem, and chore coupons. I will treasure these forever! I love being a mom!

We Have A Crawler

   The girls got Adelle to crawl tonight. They bribed her with a balloon and a syringe filled with water. Whenever she would crawl to them they let her play with the balloon and drink from the syringe. And then they would move back a bit and make her do it again. Oh sisters. So cute!

Pigs!

   Oh fun! We got pigs! On Wednesday afternoon we went to a pig farm just down the road and bought two pigs. The farmer told us they weight about 45 or 50 pounds. So far they are fun to have, nice and quiet and pretty easy to care for. They seem to love attention, especially if you scratch their backs. 

   The farmer said they should be ready to bring to the butcher September or October, so the girls can have fun with them until then. Saidey named hers Clover, and Hannah picked Snowflake. 

Gardening

     Kesh and the boys came over yesterday and we got so much done! Lots of gardening, and we worked on the pig pen for awhile. We barely saw the kids all day they were so busy playing.

    We made the garden much bigger last fall, and I really hope we will be able to keep it up this year. Ben promised he would help, he really liked working in the garden last year.

CCS Bazzar

   We went to our school Bazzar on Saturday and all had alot of fun! There was so much for the kids to do, and especially fun was the outdoor bouncy castle. Glad it was nice weather this year so the inflatables could be set up.
