New Chicks

New Chicks   May 26, 2014



   On Thursday we got to go pick up the new baby chicks from UFA. We split an order with Aunite Kesh, because its cheaper if you order at least 25, but we definitely don't have room for that many in our little coop! The girls were very excited because we had ordered the chicks weeks ago, and thats a long time to wait! All morning every five minutes the girls would ask, " can we go yet?" "are they there yet?".  Eventually I took them to play at at Auntie Kesh's  so they would be distracted and stop asking!

   Ben promised the girls they could each get a kitten when we got back to Alberta, and Friday was the big day! The girls each got to pick a kitten from my uncles place. Saidey named hers Whiskers and Hannah changes her kittens name daily, sometimes hourly!

Everything is blooming

   We decided to leave BC earlier than planned, and move back home. We were going to stay in BC until the end of august, and come back just in time for Saidey to start Kindergarten. It was a fun adventure for our family to move to BC for 5 months, but it is definetly good to be back! 

   Yeaterday Ben said it feels like we never even left, and I agree . It was good to get to know Bens side of the family better. I love that the girls know there cousins now, and got to spend alot of time with Opa and Oma.

   Ben was going to start a new job in Taber called Outlaw Welding, but at the last minute he changed his mind and went back to Charleton and Hill. I hope he is happy there, he said the first week back was good.

   We are all happy to be back in our own house! When we walked in to our house for the first time after getting back Hannah said " It's sooo pretty" Our house is not fancy or huge, but we love it and its home for us!
